                                    Chengdu our gateway to the Giant Pandas
Chengdu is one of the oldest cities in China.  It has a long history of fine food and high culture.  The first Capital City of China.

The Sichuan Opera is world renowned. The buildings could only be Chinese. 
sichuanchangefaces 2.2W120r.jpg (63160 bytes)		 Chengdu is the jumping off point for our  visit to the Panda Preserve at Wolong.  On our return from Wolong we will stay here for one night.  The capital of the Sichuan Province, this city is modern and busy.  The local food style is spicy and flavorful.

On this segment of our China Giant Panda Tour we will enjoy good food and exotic entertainment.  Shopping is excellent here and Keith already has his eyes fixed on the food vendor street.

It is located in the heart of Chengdu.   With its convenient location and the combination of its quiet surroundings and the busy city life.It is one of the most ideal hotels for our stay.

Or we will stay at the Boutique Flower Hotel on Qintai Cultural Street.  This is our current choice because of the ambience and proximity to the opera.
