Gray whale trips 3, 4, 5 & 7 days

For 4 & 5 day San Diego origin gray whale trips you ride south in our comfortable 15 person vans. Whale watching takes place on the Pacific Coast (West) side of Baja in remote Laguna Ojo de Liebre (formerly known as Scammon's Lagoon).

Special 7 day gray whale trip begins and end in Loreto and then ride across the peninsula a shorter drive time and this year visits both Laguna Ojo de Liebre and San Ignacio Lagoons.

3, 4 & 5 day Magdalena Bay Gray whales with easy access and NO all day ride in the van. Begins at La Paz airport or Cabo Airport.

Blue whale trips originate at Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. You fly in and we meet you at the Loreto Airport. This is whale watching of the more traditional style and takes place on the Sea of Cortez in small (25 foot) power boats.

Gray and Blue whale combination trips originate at Loreto or La Paz or Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. You fly in and we meet you at the airport. We combine both of the two types of whale watching. These are now our most popular tours. 8, 9 & 11 day trips.

Special 13 day Gray and Blue whale combination trip: Ride south from San Diego. Then end your trip by flying home from La Paz or Cabo OR ride north again to San Diego. A great Baja Peninsula exploration, PLUS so much whale watching. This is our longest trip. One date only starts February 23.

This year 2013 season we have 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 13 day whale watching adventures, beginning at only $1,395.

More in depth knowledge about the gray whales.

Named to the National Geographic Adventurer Magazine list of the World's top Adventure Tour Operators. The only Baja whale watch operator on that list!

This photo was made as our first ever weekend fly in trip landed in 2001. An old photo, but the lagoon remains the same today.

Since 1992 every person who has traveled with Keith, anywhere in the world, has seen whales on every whale watch day! (Except for one day Feb. 2012).  Since 1996 every 5 & 6 day  group Keith has brought to Laguna Ojo de Liebre (Scammon's Lagoon) has had the opportunity to touch a wild whale.  No one else, anywhere in the world, can match our record.    This page contains information about our various trip schedules.  Click the various blue links to read detailed information.  Our site is very large with lots of information about all of the animals we regularly view during our many trips.  We are Whale watching experts and Mexico specialists and have helped thousands of people realize lifelong dreams. Here are our current marine trips:  gray whales, blue whales of Loreto, Arctic Narwhals, the Unicorn of the sea, whale sharks of the Philippines or Baja, Bahia de Los Angeles.  Be sure and request either printed brochures or our EBrochures about the various trips

These trips are all inclusive.  They begin and end in San Diego.   We travel over the road in Suburban or van.  Also check out the Loreto Blue Whale adventures.  Gray whale trips are 3,4, 5, 7  days in length.  8, 9 & 11 day Combo trips take you to both sides of Baja and put you close to Gray whales and Blue whales and many other species of cetacean.  You sleep in clean motel rooms on soft beds.  We eat most meals in very nice restaurants.  Unlike the tent camps, where you are isolated from the every day life of Baja, we interact with the local people all day.  You will not only experience the whale watching trip of a lifetime, but you will have the opportunity to meet and learn about the Mexicans who live near these amazing animals.  Shop carefully before choosing a tour operator and a location.  Here's a page that helps compare some of the choices.   What dates are best?  Our brochure tells a lot more but read this page that tells the different types of activity you can expect to see based upon observations in previous seasons.  To sign up for one of our trips email us or phone us.  Click here for complete contact information.  We are the ONLY whale watch tour operator anywhere in the world who has ever offered a money back guarantee that clients would have the chance to touch a wild whale.    Click here for details.

The most frequently asked questions are these:  How close will I get to a whale?  Will we get to pet a whale?  How many whales will I see?   Do you guarantee that I will touch a whale?

Our response to the question about how close we get is to say that 99.5% of our groups from 1996 through 2011 did experience close touching encounters. (that was every group, but one 3 day special air charter group)  Yes, we did have one trip date each year that carried a money back guarantee for 5 years.   Nobody else in the world dared match that guarantee nor could they match our success record.

Click here to read the details of the guarantee that is no longer offered, but illustrates our commitment to providing the greatest whale watching experience possible for our client.  During all of our trip dates (click here to view dates) we  guarantee that there will be tons of gray whales present inside Laguna Ojo de Liebre!   After the 1st hour you will not count how many whales you see.   It will no longer matter to you.
