Inside Our Baja Whale Watching Camp
A Unique Mexico Whale Adventure
Welcome to Baja Jones Adventure Travel's Whale Safari Camp, where the beauty of nature meets comfort and luxury. Join us at our Baja Whale Watching Camp for a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the magnificent gray whales of Mexico.
Nestled on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula, our Mexico whale watching camp offers the perfect blend of wilderness, relaxation, and adventure. You'll sleep just steps away from the ocean, where the soothing sound of whale breaths fills the night air.
An Unforgettable Whale Watching Experience
At our Baja Whale Watching Camp, you can witness one of the most magical natural encounters on Earth β gray whales and their newborn calves swimming right beside your boat. Located at the scenic shores of Laguna Ojo de Liebre (also known as Scammon's Lagoon), this area is renowned as one of the best whale watching spots in Baja, Mexico.
Every season, gray whales return here for their "winter vacation," to give birth and nurture their young. Guests often get the rare chance to watch baby whales learning to swim, breathe, and interact playfully β sometimes coming close enough to touch your heart.
Luxury Safari Camp by the Sea
Imagine waking up in a comfortable, spacious tent, listening to the soft waves and whale calls outside. Our seaside Baja whale safari camp combines the thrill of wilderness with the comfort of modern amenities.
You'll sleep in real beds with soft mattresses, fluffy comforters, and warm fleece blankets. Step outside your tent to a starlit sky and the peaceful rhythm of nature. The gentle sounds of coyotes, owls, and ocean waves create an atmosphere of serenity you'll never forget.
